A woman is in critical condition after a serious fire broke out at an apartment building in North York on Thursday evening.
Emergency responders rushed to Lawrence Avenue West and Keele Street around 5 p.m. following reports of a fire in one of the apartments.
Firefighters heroically saved a woman from the building, who was then transported to the hospital with severe injuries. Details about her age have not been disclosed yet.
The fire has been successfully put out, and authorities have confirmed that there are no suspicions of foul play regarding the incident.
