Police Probe Surrey Gunfire and Mysterious Vehicle Blazes in Night of Chaos

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is actively investigating a series of incidents that occurred on Sunday morning, including shots fired at a home and two vehicle fires.

On an early Sunday morning, authorities responded to a residence on 125th Street near 102nd Avenue following a report of a vehicle fire. Shortly after, the Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit was dispatched to 140A Street near 110th Avenue in response to possible shots fired near a residential property. Approximately thirty minutes later, another vehicle fire was reported on Regal Drive near Regent Place.

SPS has indicated that all three events are linked, and there is no indication of extortion-related motives. The investigation into the shootings and vehicle fires is ongoing, with officers collaborating with law enforcement agencies to explore potential connections to other cases.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with these incidents. Individuals who may have information or video footage relevant to the investigation are urged to reach out to the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502, citing file numbers 25-108536 (SP), 25-108544, or 25-66420 (SU).
