Blues Halt Canadiens’ Winning Streak at Two with Decisive Victory

The St. Louis Blues triumphed over the Montreal Canadiens in a thrilling 4-3 victory on Sunday, with Brayden Schenn leading the charge by scoring two goals and providing an assist.

In a dynamic display, Dylan Holloway contributed a goal and two assists, while Pavel Buchnevich also found the back of the net for St. Louis (11-12-7). Jordan Binnington stood tall in goal, making 23 saves to secure the win.

Despite a strong effort from the Canadiens, Cole Caufield extended his point streak to 11 games with a goal, and Noah Dobson and Lane Hutson also scored for Montreal (15-10-3).

Notably, Jakub Dobes made 14 saves in his second consecutive start, filling in for the ill Sam Montembeault. The Canadiens had to call up Kaapo Kahkonen from the AHL’s Laval Rocket as a backup for Dobes.
