Shots Fired: LaSalle Businesses Under Siege in Overnight Attack

Two businesses in Montreal’s LaSalle neighborhood were struck by gunfire late Sunday night. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as only one person was present at the time.

Montreal Police (SPVM) received reports of gunshots around 12:10 a.m. near Dollard Ave. and Lithuania Street. Upon arrival, officers found that both businesses had been targeted with multiple shots to their front windows.

Officer Johany Charland, SPVM spokesperson, confirmed that despite the individual’s presence during the incident, no one was harmed.

The perpetrator(s) had fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Investigators and forensic technicians were dispatched to the site to determine the motives behind the shooting.

As of Monday morning, no suspects had been apprehended, and the investigation remains ongoing.
