Blaze Engulfs Montreal Warehouse in Saint-Laurent, Authorities Investigating

An early morning fire caused significant damage to a warehouse located in Montreal’s Saint-Laurent neighborhood. The Montreal police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting the fire at around 4 a.m. on de la Côte-de-Liesse Road near Merizzi Road. Upon arrival, authorities found firefighters already at the scene battling the flames.

Firefighters noted that the warehouse’s front window had been broken, and suspicious incendiary materials were discovered, leading investigators to believe the fire was intentionally ignited. The alleged suspects managed to escape before the police arrived, and as of now, no arrests have been made.

The full extent of the damage and the associated costs are yet to be determined as investigations continue. The case has been passed on to the Montreal police arson squad for further examination.
