Last week, Ontario Premier Doug Ford had the opportunity to share a meal with none other than Prince Harry.
Confirming the dinner date in an interview with 680 NewsRadio on Tuesday, Ford expressed his delight in meeting the Prince. “It was nice to meet him. He’s a real gentleman, so down to earth,” said Ford, keeping the details of their dinner at Nobu Toronto discreet.
Known for its upscale Japanese cuisine, Nobu Toronto offers exquisite dishes such as Toro Tartare with Caviar ($68) and Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing ($43). Ford playfully mentioned that his culinary preferences lean towards fast food, leaving the menu of their meeting a mystery.
Prince Harry’s visit to Toronto was centered around the OREA Powerhouse Conference, an annual event hosted by the Ontario Real Estate Association, where both the Prince and Premier Ford were speakers.
