A woman, seven months pregnant, along with her two young children, who had been missing in Montreal for two days, have been found safe, the Montreal Police announced on Thursday.
The woman, in her 30s, together with her two-year-old son and one-year-old daughter, were last seen early Tuesday morning in the Sud-Ouest borough of the city.
Following a public appeal from authorities expressing concerns for their safety, the family’s disappearance had sparked a city-wide search effort.
Providing reassurance to the community, Montreal police confirmed on Thursday that the woman and her two children were located “safe and sound.”
