On Thursday afternoon in Mississauga, a suspect passed away in a police-involved shooting following a stabbing incident. The authorities responded to a call at Winston Churchill Boulevard and Britannia Road West around 2:30 p.m.
According to reports by CityNews, the stabbing took place at a local residence, with no information currently available about the victim’s status or identity.
Shortly thereafter, Peel police confirmed that the suspect had died in the confrontation with officers. The Special Investigation Unit of the province has been informed and is expected to conduct further inquiries into the incident.
