“Armed and Dangerous: RCMP Apprehends Suspect in Daring Crime Spree Across Maple Ridge and Langley”

The Ridge Meadows RCMP has apprehended a suspect linked to a series of armed robberies across Maple Ridge and Langley that occurred over three days.

Authorities in both regions responded to a total of six robbery incidents, with two in Langley and four in Maple Ridge, between December 5 and 7, all believed to be the work of the same individual.

According to police, the suspect’s modus operandi and appearance were consistent across all cases, involving the targeting of businesses, staff, and customers, with the presence of a firearm noted in each instance.

The 24-year-old suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed by the RCMP, was taken into custody in Langley on December 9 and is currently under police detention.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of these incidents.
