An employee was seriously injured during a workplace incident on Saturday morning in east Montreal. The event took place at approximately 9:35 a.m. on 9800 Maurice-Duplessis Blvd. in the Rivière-des-Prairies neighborhood. Montreal police (SPVM) responded to the scene to provide assistance.
The injured worker was quickly taken to the hospital in critical condition. Following the incident, the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST), Quebec’s workplace safety board, has initiated an investigation into the matter.
