Teenager Wounded in North York Shooting, Police Investigating

Toronto authorities are currently looking into a reported shooting incident that left a 16-year-old boy wounded in North York on Friday night.

The incident took place in the Englemount-Lawrence neighborhood of Toronto, specifically near Varna Drive and Flemington Road, shortly after 11 p.m., as per official statements.

Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement found the teenager with gunshot wounds. He was swiftly taken to a hospital for treatment of serious, albeit non-life-threatening, injuries.
