Toronto authorities have named the victim of a suspected homicide in the city’s West-end this week. Emergency responders were summoned to an apartment building on St. Clair Avenue West near Rushton Road following a medical complaint on Dec. 9. Upon arrival, an elderly woman was discovered deceased at the scene.
Initially deemed suspicious, the situation was later confirmed as a homicide after a post-mortem examination. The victim, identified as 79-year-old Jolan Kun from Toronto, marks the 38th homicide in the city for 2025. The investigation into the incident is currently underway.
