Toronto authorities are currently looking into a reported stabbing incident that occurred at Yorkdale Mall on a Friday evening.
Reportedly, a man was caught shoplifting from a store shortly before 6:30 p.m. The events that followed are still unclear, but police have confirmed that one male victim was found with a cut and was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
In addition, a woman was also hospitalized with serious injuries that are fortunately not life-threatening.
The suspect, a male individual, has been apprehended by law enforcement.
