A young man in his twenties sustained severe injuries after a shooting incident that took place in North York during the early hours of the morning.
According to Toronto police, the incident occurred at a banquet hall located on Steeles Avenue West, slightly to the west of Highway 400, at approximately 4:30 a.m. last Sunday. Following a reported altercation, gunshots were fired, leading to the discovery of the victim, who had been shot.
The injured man was swiftly transported to a trauma center in critical condition, with his life hanging in the balance.
