Looking ahead to Monday, Montrealers can anticipate a mix of sun and clouds. West winds will persist at 20 km/h, gusting to 40 before easing in the afternoon. The daytime high will hover around minus-7, with wind chill values dropping to around minus-19 in the morning and minus-12 in the afternoon. The UV index is expected to remain at 1. Cloudy skies are in the forecast for Monday night, with temperatures dipping to minus-8.

Tuesday will continue under a blanket of grey clouds, with a high of minus-4. The nighttime will see more of the same, with cloudy skies and a 40 percent chance of flurries, maintaining temperatures around minus-4.

Midweek will see a change in weather patterns. Wednesday is predicted to be overcast with a 30 percent chance of showers and gusty winds. The temperature will rise to plus-3 during the day, with cloudy intervals expected at night and a low of minus-6.

Rain is likely on Thursday, with intervals of showers and a high reaching plus-3. Thursday night will also bring rain, with temperatures falling to minus-2.

As the week progresses, colder conditions will return. Friday will see clear skies and a high of minus-4, followed by increasing cloud cover at night and a significant drop to minus-17.

The weekend is expected to end with snowfall. Saturday will feature periods of snow with a daytime high of minus-3, showcasing the diverse weather patterns that Montreal experiences in December.
