The Abbotsford Police Department swiftly responded to a distress call at a residence on McCrimmon Drive near Maple Street just before 11 a.m. on Sunday following a report of a violent altercation.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a man severely injured, fighting for his life.
Despite the valiant efforts of emergency medical personnel, the victim ultimately succumbed to his wounds at the hospital, as revealed by Sgt. Paul Walker.
A suspect was apprehended at the scene by law enforcement.
