Montreal’s Le Phare Lights Up Early Holiday Joy for Palliative Care Children

Santa made a special visit to brighten the day of young patients at Le Phare in Montreal, continuing a heartwarming tradition.

The sixth annual Bright Lights, Bright Eyes parade on Monday was a festive affair, with first responders, mascots, and SPVM officers all joining in the fun.

The tradition was started by organizer Marco Cerroni, who was inspired by the story of Noah, a seven-year-old boy at the Montreal pediatric palliative care resource. Noah’s dream was to be a police officer, and Cerroni, then a Montreal police cadet, decided to make it happen through a special parade.

Year after year, the parade brings holiday cheer to the children at Le Phare, a place dedicated to supporting kids with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
