Toronto authorities probe stabbing incident in Scarborough neighborhood
Toronto authorities are currently looking into an alleged stabbing incident that took place in Scarborough on Sunday evening.
According to reports, law enforcement was alerted to the incident near the intersection of Birchmount Road and Sheppard Avenue East around 9:19 p.m.
Upon arriving at the site, police found a man who had sustained a stab wound. The victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious, albeit non-life-threatening, injuries.
The suspect in question is described as a male of brown complexion, aged between 25 to 30 years old. He stands at a height of five-foot-seven, sports short facial hair, and was last seen clad in a black jacket.
The investigation into the incident remains active as authorities work to gather more information.
