Ingram Shines with 28 Points as Raptors Snap 4-Game Losing Streak, Topple Heat 106-96

The Toronto Raptors secured a crucial 106-96 victory against the Miami Heat, ending their four-game losing streak and further extending the Heat’s woes to a five-game skid. Brandon Ingram was the standout performer, notching an impressive 28 points, while Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley contributed significantly with 17 and 15 points respectively. The Raptors displayed their sharpshooting skills by making 16 3-pointers, with Ingram particularly excelling behind the arc.

Miami faced a setback early on as forward Nikola Jovic sustained an elbow injury following a rough collision with Collin Murray-Boyles. Despite the efforts of Norman Powell, Bam Adebayo, and Davion Mitchell who scored 20, 20, and 12 points respectively, the Heat struggled offensively and were held to under 100 points for the first time this season.

In a gritty fourth quarter, the Raptors turned the tide in their favor with a decisive 17-2 run, ultimately sealing the victory. With key player RJ Barrett still recovering from a knee injury, the Raptors have maintained a 4-6 record in his absence.
