Peel Regional Police Seek Witnesses to Brampton Shooting Incident
Peel Regional Police (PRP) are reaching out to the community for assistance following a recent shooting incident in Brampton. On the early morning of Dec. 3, reports of gunfire led PRP officers to Martin Byrne Road and Countryside Drive at 3:46 a.m.
Although no injuries were reported, a suspect vehicle, identified as a newer-model black Honda Civic, was spotted fleeing the scene towards Countryside Drive. Authorities have alerted the public that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous, advising against any direct contact.
Residents, drivers, and business owners in the vicinity are urged to check any dashcam or surveillance footage recorded between 3:30 and 4 a.m. along Countryside Drive and Goreway Drive on the same morning. PRP is requesting anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
