“Wanted Man Facing Over 30 Charges Captured in B.C. by Calgary Police”

Authorities in Surrey, B.C., have successfully apprehended a 39-year-old man wanted by Calgary police on over thirty criminal charges.

According to the Surrey Police Service, they were contacted by the Calgary Police Department in October for assistance in locating and apprehending the individual believed to be hiding in Surrey.

Collaborating with Calgary police, Alberta law enforcement, and the RCMP, Surrey’s dedicated offenders team successfully tracked down the wanted man.

Tyler Evoy was ultimately found by law enforcement officers in Burnaby, a city in Metro Vancouver, on December 11.

Evoy is facing a range of charges, including criminal harassment, unauthorized distribution of intimate images, and failure to comply with court directives.

Currently in custody, Evoy is awaiting transportation back to Calgary in the company of officials from the Alberta Sheriffs Branch.
