24-Year-Old Arrested for Brutal Kidnapping in Mississauga: Details Unfold

A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with a kidnapping incident in Mississauga, according to police.

The incident took place on November 27 around 10:30 p.m. in the Windwood Drive and Bucklepost Crescent area. A 26-year-old individual was reportedly assaulted by four suspects as he exited his car and was then forcibly taken into a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The victim was allegedly held captive for several hours, enduring continuous assault and threats for money, before being released near Loyalist Drive.

Mohamad Rayyan Dassut, 24, was arrested on December 4 after an investigation and has been charged with kidnapping, assault, robbery, extortion, forcible confinement, and possession of property obtained through crime. It was discovered that Dassut was on probation at the time of his arrest.

Authorities are still searching for three other suspects involved in the incident.
