An employee was quickly taken to the hospital following a collision between two construction vehicles on a work site early Thursday.
Emergency responders were alerted to the incident at the construction zone close to the intersection of Eglinton Avenue West and Jane Street shortly after 10 a.m.
Toronto Fire officials reported discovering the male worker within one of the vehicles. The injured man was swiftly transported to the hospital with severe injuries.
Authorities have informed the Ministry of Labour about the situation.
