Shots Fired at Empty Car in Quiet Pierrefonds-Roxboro Neighborhood

Montreal police are currently investigating a possible drive-by shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday evening in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro neighborhood.

Authorities were alerted to the situation around 8:40 p.m. when a 911 call reported gunshots directed at a parked vehicle near a local business on Pierrefonds Blvd., in proximity to Saint-Pierre Street.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found evidence of gunshots and spoke with an individual who had been inside the targeted vehicle; fortunately, he was unharmed.

Initial reports indicate that the shots were fired from a moving vehicle which promptly fled the scene. A security perimeter was established as officers combed the area for clues and examined surveillance footage from nearby establishments.

At present, no suspects have been apprehended, and the investigation remains active.
