The Quebec provincial police are seeking assistance from the public in their investigation of a tragic accident that occurred on Highway 50 in Mirabel earlier this month.
On Dec. 10, around 5:30 a.m., a collision involving two vehicles and a transport truck took place as reported by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). A car heading westbound on Highway 50 lost control, veering into oncoming traffic and crashing head-on with a heavy truck traveling in the opposite direction.
Tragically, the young driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was rushed to the hospital but later passed away due to his injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has information regarding the events leading up to it to come forward and assist in the investigation.
