An incident in Etobicoke today resulted in one individual being hospitalized and two others being apprehended following a collision involving a stolen vehicle.
According to Toronto authorities, a stolen car was identified through Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology at approximately 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Finch Avenue West and Highway 27 south.
The stolen vehicle collided with another car, leading to one person from the second vehicle being transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Law enforcement officers arrested two suspects who were present in the stolen vehicle at the scene of the incident.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, Finch Avenue West is currently shut down between Humberline Drive and Humber College Boulevard, with Humber College Boulevard closed off from Finch to Humberline.
