RCMP Unveils Shocking Twist in GTA Probe: Suspect Allegedly Plotted Terror Attacks for ISIS

Toronto and Peel police have charged three men with planning terror attacks and targeting women and the Jewish community. According to the RCMP, one of the suspects was allegedly collaborating with ISIS to carry out deadly acts of violence. The charges stem from incidents in Toronto and Mississauga that authorities believe were fueled by hate-motivated extremism.

The first incident occurred in Toronto on May 31, 2025, when three men armed with a handgun and a knife attempted to force a woman into a vehicle. A passing motorist intervened, causing the suspects to flee the scene. The second incident took place in Mississauga on June 24, 2025, where two women were targeted by three armed men who chased them before fleeing upon interruption by a passerby.

The suspects, identified as Waleed Khan, Osman Azizov, and Fahad Sadaat, all from Toronto, are facing a total of 79 charges, including kidnapping, attempted kidnapping with firearms, conspiracy to commit sexual assault, and hostage taking. Following the execution of search warrants at their residences, police seized firearms, ammunition, and other incriminating items.

Further investigation revealed additional hate-motivated offenses targeting women and the Jewish community, leading to a broader RCMP inquiry that resulted in terrorism-related charges being laid against Waleed Khan, who is accused of collaborating with ISIS. It is important to note that these allegations have not yet been proven in court.
