Montreal Canadiens showcased a strong performance as Zachary Bolduc netted two goals and Lane Hutson delivered three assists, leading the team to a solid 4-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in an exciting Thursday night showdown.
In addition to Bolduc’s stellar performance, Noah Dobson also found the back of the net for Montreal (18-12-4), with goaltender Jakub Dobes making key saves. Nick Suzuki sealed the win with an empty-net goal and an assist.
Chicago’s lone goal came from Frank Nazar, breaking a 21-game goalless streak, while Spencer Knight’s 32 saves were not enough to halt the Blackhawks’ fourth consecutive loss.
Bolduc’s spectacular one-timer and deflection goals, along with Dobson’s contribution, were instrumental in Montreal’s dominant display. The game also saw successful coach’s challenges, with goals being overturned for offside infractions.
