The Ridge Meadows RCMP Seeks Help Finding Stolen Mobility Bike

The Ridge Meadows RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen mobility bike that belongs to a child with special needs. On Friday afternoon, a resident outside a store on 224th Street near 118th Avenue in Maple Ridge alerted officers to the theft.

According to the Mounties, the electronic mobility bike was taken from a bike rack outside the store around 1 p.m. The bike is crucial for the child’s mobility and independence. Described as a black Volt Trio Trike with a car seat attached to the back, the stolen bike is a vital lifeline for the child.

Individuals who may have information or surveillance footage related to the theft are urged to contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251 and mention file 2025-26591.
