The authorities are looking into a tragic incident where a woman tragically fell from a hotel balcony in downtown Toronto.
The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) disclosed that Toronto law enforcement responded to a disturbance call at a hotel near Colborne and Yonge Streets on Sunday afternoon. Upon their arrival, they were informed that the woman had gone back to her room, prompting the officers to head there.
Shortly after, the officers were informed that the woman had fallen from the balcony of her room and was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by the SIU in a statement on Sunday night.
