An incident of alleged sexual assault has led to charges against a Toronto dentist linked to an office in Scarborough.
According to investigators, a 21-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted while undergoing dental treatment at the Dr. Illango and Associates office situated in the Finch Avenue East and Kennedy Road area on a day in October 2025.
The accused, Muthuckumaru Illango, 66, of Toronto, voluntarily surrendered to authorities on December 5, 2025, as reported in a statement from the Toronto police.
He has been charged with one count of sexual assault and is set to appear in court on January 22, 2026. It is important to note that the allegations have not yet been tried in court.
