Ensure you complete your last-minute shopping before Christmas as many places will close for the holiday season.
Planning to explore Toronto this week? Here’s what you need to know about what will be open and closed:
Most attractions, such as museums, in Toronto will be closed on Christmas Day but will reopen on Boxing Day. However, notable exceptions include the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium, Casa Loma, and the Toronto Zoo, which will welcome visitors every day throughout the holidays.
For those looking to enjoy some outdoor winter fun, ice rinks and skating trails, including Nathan Phillips Square, will be open daily during the festive season. You can access the full schedules for city-run rinks here.
Movie buffs need not worry as most major theatres will continue to operate each day, even on Christmas Day.
If you are wondering about shopping options, here’s a quick rundown:
– Wednesday, Dec. 24: Most locations open with reduced hours (verify with your local store)
