A tragic incident unfolded in Toronto’s North York area when a vehicle crashed into a building, resulting in two injuries and one fatality.
The collision occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. at a building located near Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West. A pedestrian was struck by the vehicle and became trapped within the building. Toronto Fire and paramedics swiftly responded to rescue the individual.
Paramedics later transferred two injured individuals to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Regrettably, Toronto police have confirmed to CityNews that one person succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash.
