26-Year-Old Miraculously Survives Stabbing in Plateau–Mont-Royal, Now in Stable Condition

A young man, 26, was wounded in a violent attack on Wednesday evening in the Plateau—Mont-Royal neighborhood, as reported by Montreal police (SPVM).

The SPVM was alerted to the incident at an apartment on Saint-Denis Street, close to Bienville Street, at 10:45 p.m.

Upon reaching the location, law enforcement discovered the victim had sustained serious injuries to his upper body, although he remained conscious.

SPVM spokesperson, Jeanne Drouin, stated, “He was swiftly taken to the hospital and, despite the severity of his wounds, is currently in stable condition with no immediate threat to his life.”

Forensic specialists cordoned off the area to collect crucial evidence.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is still ongoing.
