The City of Montreal gears up for a massive snow removal operation scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. this Saturday. Montrealers are advised to pay close attention to posted signs to facilitate the process and prevent their vehicles from being towed.
With a fleet of approximately 2,500 snow plows and 3,000 workers ready to hit the streets, the City aims to efficiently clear snow across all boroughs. To stay informed about the progress of the operation, motorists can track real-time updates through the 311 Montréal app, conveniently accessible on both Apple and Android platforms.
In preparation for the snow removal, residents are reminded to store garbage bags and bins securely on their property and ensure vehicles are parked at least 30 centimetres away from the curb with side mirrors folded in. Additionally, a map outlining designated incentive parking lots can be found on the City’s official website.
