Toronto Spa Employee, 66, Hit with Additional Sexual Assault Charges

A Toronto spa employee accused of sexual assaults is facing additional charges as more individuals step forward with their experiences.

Last July, authorities apprehended 66-year-old David Ludwig following a report from an unidentified victim who claimed to have been sexually assaulted during a massage session at a spa clinic in Etobicoke near Lakeshore Boulevard West and Thirty Third Street.

Initially charged with one count of sexual assault, Ludwig was set to appear in court in September. The public was urged to provide any additional information during the investigative process.

In a recent update, law enforcement disclosed that Ludwig is linked to a similar sexual assault case from 7 years ago. Another victim reported being sexually assaulted during a massage appointment at the same Etobicoke clinic in November 2018.

Ludwig was re-apprehended and charged with another count of sexual assault. His court appearance is scheduled for February 11, 2026. Authorities have released his photo and suspect there could be more victims. Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to reach out to the police.
