Elderly Man Perishes in Devastating North York Blaze

A tragic incident unfolded in North York as an elderly man passed away following a late-night fire on Sunday, as confirmed by local authorities.

According to Toronto Fire officials speaking to CityNews, the man was rescued from a fourth-floor unit, the origin of the fire.

The fire broke out around 10:22 p.m. in the vicinity of Red Robinway and Finch Avenue West, as reported by the police.

Investigators revealed that the man, aged in his 80s, was taken to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
