A tragic turn of events unfolded in Vancouver as the Vancouver Police Department confirmed the grim discovery of a missing teenage girl. The 16-year-old had been reported missing the previous night, initially handled by the North Vancouver RCMP.
Responding to a call near East Pender Street and Renfrew Street, VPD officers found the young girl deceased. The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation, as authorities work to determine the cause.
