Gilles Sauve Jr. took to Facebook to share the heartbreaking news that his sister, Christine Sauvé, and her husband, Alain Noël, passed away in their sleep on the night of December 25th into the 26th. “Out of respect for our family’s privacy during this difficult time, we ask for your understanding and patience. We are still awaiting more details before we can share further information,” expressed Sauve Jr. in his Facebook post.
Global Affairs Canada (GAC) released a statement to CityNews, acknowledging the loss of two Canadian citizens in the Dominican Republic.
