The $80 million Lotto Max jackpot has finally been won in Ontario, breaking a series of draws without a winner. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced that the winning ticket was purchased in London, Ontario on December 30th.
This is only the second time that the massive $80 million jackpot has been scooped up by a single ticket holder. The previous win happened on May 9, 2025, in British Columbia.
Adding to the excitement of the main jackpot win, multiple Maxmillions and Encore prizes were also claimed throughout the province during the recent draw. Seven lucky tickets each worth $1 million were sold in various locations including Hamilton, Barrie, Thornhill, Prince Edward County/Hastings area, the Niagara region, and two in Toronto.
