A man has been apprehended for allegedly spitting on a woman in downtown Vancouver. The incident occurred late on Dec. 29 when a woman in her 60s was walking her dog and was approached by a man who spat in her face. Vancouver Police Department confirmed the arrest, with the victim assisting in identifying the suspect. The 41-year-old man is currently facing an assault charge, and authorities believe the attack was unprovoked. The accused has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 20.
