Authorities have made a significant breakthrough in a drug trafficking case that dates back to July 2025, leading to the arrest of three suspects. In a recent operation on December 30, 2025, law enforcement officers carried out search warrants at two locations linked to the ongoing investigation.
During the raids, a substantial haul including seven kilograms of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, opiates, psilocybin, marijuana, and cannabis indica, along with a firearm and cash, was confiscated by the authorities.
The suspects, comprising two men and one woman, were promptly taken into police custody. A 36-year-old man and woman from Kitchener face charges related to the case, while a 48-year-old man from the same area is also facing charges.
All three individuals have been detained for a bail hearing as the investigation continues to unfold.
