A serious accident on New Year’s Day in Metro Vancouver left two individuals with critical injuries after a collision involving a tractor trailer and two smaller vehicles.
According to the Surrey Police Service, the incident occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m. in the vicinity of the junction of 32nd Avenue and 194th Street.
Emergency services rushed three individuals from the smaller vehicles to the hospital for medical attention, with two of them reported to be in critical condition. At present, there has been no update on their current status.
Fortunately, the driver of the tractor trailer emerged unharmed from the collision.
Following the accident, authorities closed off a section of 32nd Avenue adjacent to 194th and 196th streets, with investigations ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
