“Brace for Trouble: Monday’s Snowstorm Set to Snarl Toronto’s Morning Commute!”

Prepare for Snowy Commute as Toronto and GTA Under Snowfall Warning
A snowfall alert has been issued for Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), potentially causing disruptions for the morning commute as many head back to work post-holiday.

According to Environment Canada, around 10 cm of snow is anticipated on Monday, starting in the early hours and lasting through the afternoon.

Even though the snowfall is predicted to be moderate, the timing poses challenges, as noted by the national weather agency. With the festive season over and traffic returning to normal, Monday’s snow is likely to impact the morning rush.

Travel conditions are expected to be tricky, with reduced visibility at times and snow-covered roads and walkways creating obstacles for commuters.

The weather advisory spans a significant area of southern Ontario, ranging from Burlington to Oshawa.

Meanwhile, Hamilton and regions east of Oshawa to Kingston have been placed under a special weather alert, with snowfall expected to reach between 5 and 10 cm during the same timeframe.
