Saanich Police Seek Public Help in Identifying Robbery Suspects
Authorities in Saanich, British Columbia are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a violent robbery of a 14-year-old boy.
The disturbing incident occurred last month in the vicinity of McKenzie Avenue and Quadra Street. According to a statement from Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers, the young victim was ambushed on December 1, 2025, around 3:20 p.m. The attackers approached him from behind, knocking him to the ground and repeatedly striking him in the head. The assailants then seized his phone before escaping in an older model black Mercedes that was parked nearby.
Descriptions of the suspects have been provided: the first is a 30-year-old man standing at 5’10”, dressed in a dark jacket and sweatpants, while the second is a woman clad in dark attire.
The getaway vehicle in question is an older-style Mercedes.
