In Scarborough, a person was quickly taken to the hospital following an accident involving a vehicle.
Authorities in Toronto responded to a call at Kingston Road and Midland Avenue around 2:30 p.m. last Tuesday regarding a traffic incident.
Although the driver initially fled the scene, they eventually came back.
The injured pedestrian has been hospitalized with severe injuries.
