Quebec’s auto insurance board, SAAQ, has reported that although there are still some remaining technical issues with online appointment booking, the impact on customers is minimal. According to a spokesperson, the measures implemented to address these problems are already showing positive results.
Simon-Pierre Poulin stated, “We are observing improvements and are actively collaborating with our external partner to ensure a permanent solution to the issue.”
The board discovered the problem last week and temporarily closed certain appointment slots to avoid errors. Despite this, there has been no surge in customer calls for assistance with booking appointments, and wait times remain unaffected.
Poulin added, “Yesterday, 77% of customers who visited our service centers had appointments, a rate in line with our usual operations.”
