Authorities are currently investigating an early morning shooting incident in Langley Township on Thursday.
According to the Langley RCMP, law enforcement officers were dispatched following multiple reports of gunshots in the vicinity of 232 Street close to 69 Avenue at approximately 5 a.m.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, and the police have assured the community that there is no immediate danger to the public.
At this stage, it remains unclear whether the shooting was a targeted incident or connected to any extortion activities.
