Montreal Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses After Deadly September Hit-and-Run

Montreal police seek public assistance in solving a tragic hit-and-run incident that took place in the Ville-Marie neighborhood on September 30th.

According to authorities, at around 3:45 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a black Audi RS5 traveling west on René-Lévesque Boulevard West at the Peel Street intersection, resulting in the victim’s tragic passing.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene, heading west on René-Lévesque Boulevard before turning south onto Lucien-L’Allier Street.

Police have shared images of the suspected vehicle, indicating that it may have sustained damage on the front passenger side, particularly the bumper and rear-view mirror.
