Authorities in Saint-Constant, on Montreal’s South Shore, are probing a violent break-in that resulted in a man being harmed early on a Saturday morning. The incident occurred on Lanctôt Street when three intruders forcibly entered an apartment and attacked the resident, prompting a call to the police at 2:37 a.m.
The victim sustained head injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital; fortunately, his condition is deemed non-life-threatening by law enforcement. The trio of suspects has been apprehended and is slated for interrogation, though the motive behind the assault remains murky.
